Para comenzar tenemos este segmento de Plaza de Armas en nodulotv en donde Jorge García Roble; escritor mexicano y autor de libros ensayísticos, platica sobre su reciente libro Diccionario de Modismos Mexicanos publicado hace apenas un año para editorial Porrúa. En esta entrevista García Roble nos cuenta la diferencia entre regionalismo y modismo.
"Regionalismo es un vocablo o una frase que se origina en una determinada región , lugar o país" "El modismo es un vocablo o frase no necesariamente regionalista, puede estar importada, pero tiene un sesgo anticonvencional..... una mala palabra generalmente es un modismo, pero también los hay no agresivos" comenta García Roble en la entrevista.
